I just receive mail from yahoo/mns that i won a prise of 500000 pound. without applying. should i belive on this mail or ts is froud?|||Fraud, do not fall for this. Its a scam to get your personal information.|||Sorry to disappoint you but this is a SCAM, there is no 5000000 pounds, to win something you have to have been in a competition. you would not be receiving unsolicited email via the internet. (if it was legit)
many thousands of variations of these types of emails are sent out everyday to random people, to try and catch them out.
whenever you receive unsolicited email like this,do not even open it,just mark the email as spam and forget about it.
if you open the email,it only confirms that your email address is real and will get you much more spam. but most importantly DO NOT BELIEVE any type of email like this again.
do not become the next victim to these Scam Artists.
-Jake|||That message is both a fake and an outright fraud. Don't give the phishers any of your personal information at all. Spam that scam message straight into oblivion right away. This is one lottery you'll never win because it's "bogus."
Another thing, the phishers telling you to "keep this lottery information confidential" would indicate to you not to say anything about this to anybody until they have finished scamming you.|||Have you never promised someone strange to you 500.000 pound? You probably do not live in England.
It is always better not to reply. A reply could tell people you are answering.|||Dont be so silly, no you shouldnt believe it.|||only if you want to give some fraud all you bank details and rob you.remember, you get nothing for free
