I need some help with MNS Messenger pictures?

I cannot work out how mns messenger display pictures work. I have messenger contacts on my hotmail account with one display picture -say a cat, the same contact shows a different display on messenger -a flower for example. How do I do that? or can I have different pictures for different contacts? I tried messenger help, but still cannot work it out, is it to do with the "permission" settings? Thanks for any help|||hi

it can be simple... your MSN doesn't update the information and so you see a different pic on the convo window

OR he uses PLUS and a script

► PLUS 4.70 ( for WLM 8.5)

http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/

(do not support the sponsor)

►PLUS 4.79 for WLM 2009

http://mirror1.msgpluslive.net/MsgPlusLi…

►►then get this script ( is not available yet for WLM 2009, you have to wait til they update it))

►Display Picture Changer 1.2

http://www.msgpluslive.net/scripts/view/…

►►►Functions:

/DPCOptions

Shows the options window. Here you can set various settins of the script:

- Specify the display picture directory

- Enable/disable automatic rotation

- number of seconds a picture should be displayed

- Specify if the script should loop through the images or if the images should be shown randomly.

- Specify if images should be shuffled or not.

/DPCChange

Instantly show another display picture from your list. Depending on the settings it will be a random picture or the next one in the list.

/DPCSteal

Steals your contacts display picture. The picture is shown instantly and is added to your list. The picture is also saved to your display picture folder.

/DPCDelete

Delete your current display picture from your rotation list. The user is asked whether the display picture should also be removed from the filesystem or not. If it is not removed from the filesystem, it will be added to your rotation list again after the script restarts.

/DPCReload

Reload your rotation list. The list is rebuild from the specified directory so it reflects the possible changes. (for example when new pictures where added through the fileystem)

/DPCAbout

Shows the about box

/DPCRotateStart (v1.1)

Start the rotation of the display picture. Whether the display picture is changed randomly or not depends on options settings. The option settings remain unchanged.

/DPCRotateStop (v1.1)

Stop the rotation of the display picture for now. The option settings remain unchanged.

►►How to use this script:

- Make sure you have Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live installed.

- Download the script, open it, accept the warning and press Import.

- Open a conversation window.

- Click on the Plus! Logo, go to Display Picture Changer, and choose an option.

I used that lemon in 2004 when I created a profile for msn spaces but never changed it. Maybe if you go to msn spaces you can add a picture for your hotmail by creating a space account where you add photos, etc.

You'll probably have to log in in with your hotmail account first, though.
