Why are the people of India forgetting that India is secular?

Why do people have so much difficulty in being secular? And why are people dumb enough to be trapped in the web of hate politics and support opportunists like BJP, VHP, Shiv Sena, MNS etc?|||the average indian voter is always under the delusion that some community or the other is "conspiring" against their community.nobody is in the least concerned about our economy and national security.its always about hindus trying to marginalize other religous groups..or muslims turning into terrorists or christians trying to convert hindus.some people base their political preference solely on religion. religion in india overtakes all ethics and principles as was demonstrated by BJP.|||The people of India r basically secular.But the r instigated by some vested interests to fight among them selves for religious causes.The terrorists n the politicians have complicated the matter.As almost all terrorists r muslims,the hindu fundamentalists take advantage of the situation n instigate the innocent hindus to fight against their own Indian muslim brothers n never forget to brand muslims as terrorists.The muslim fundamentalists r also no way less responsible for the current turmoil.At the early stage of the terrorism,the muslim fundamentalists never condemned them.This provided the hindu fundamentalists a ground to spread hatred against the muslim brothers.





So,it is not the majority of the people of the country,but the fundamentalists from both religions who have encouraged our innocent people to work against SECULAR policies of the country.|||According to BJP, VHP, Shiv Sena, MNS etc Hindus hold first rights in the country.





Every thing must starts with Hindu. Subsidy on Yatra must be started with hindu. But congress on the bases of population count started with muslims and BJP called it pseudo secularism.





Expenditure on hajj for one haji: Rs94000(Govt paid only airlines fare: Rs29,000+Rs 4000(plane reurn without passenger)=Rs33,000).


every year 1,00,000 people allowed.


Expenditure on mansarover yatra for one hindu: Rs29,000-Rs39,000 or more (Govt paid: nothing).


China allowed : 960-1400 people only.





Congress giving importance to minority, as they are also indians.





Now count how many Holy place we have in our country:


1) char dham yatra (Gangotri, Yamunotri,Badrinath and Kedarnath)


2) All famous Mansa Devi Temples(Haryana,Haridwar)


many more





But Muslim have one big HOLY place in Makka. Whats wrong in it.





INDIA is not a hindu country. Every indian have equal rights. Paying attention to minorities by govt can't be defined as NON-SECULAR GOVT.|||Secularism can also be the social ideology in which religion and supernatural beliefs are not seen as the key to understanding the world and are instead segregated from matters of governance and reasoning. In this sense, secularism can be involved in the promotion of science, reason, and naturalistic thinking.


No not all Indians are forgetting it It is the people who are ruling the country now, who are.So think and cast your vote.|||you are selective in your criticism , SH.


there are plenty of muslim and christian organisations which openly criticise other religions .





some people feel they are being discriminated against (people from all religions/regions) . so, they join whichever organisation claims to improve their kind . this makes people from other religions/regions insecure and they join some other organisations , and so on ...


it is a vicious cycle .





as for MNS, it is occasionally doing some good work, like supporting jet airways employees who almost lost their jobs . same for other organisations too , i guess .|||The people of the country have not forgotten that we are a secular country, but where is secularism? Its not visible anywhere. A true Indian National is secular to the core but in the name of secularism we are being discriminated by the so called secular party and that is our real fight with them.|||BJP,VHP,VHP,SHIV SENA,MNS have no idea of the Sanatan Dharma,nor do they intend to have.Their only aim is to grab power,collect money and make merry which is prohibited in the Sanatan Dharma.|||I think you know wat you mean by secular?,...and india is a religious country not secular country,...why should we be secularize?,....itz better like this,...we don't have other opportunity's,..rather than them,...no one can dare to talk abt the corrupted political system!;...|||Everyone claims BJP, VHP.... are secular... But the same ppl fail to recognise the Congress are pseudoseculars.... BJP support majority and Congress are with the minority....|||The fanatics fool the majority people on their religious sentiments. They, infact are not interested in development.





Once elections are over, they forget the people who voted for them and get busy with corruption.|||Please Note that Indians are well aware that India is secular but it is the INDIAN POLITICIAN who it seems are still unaware of it.|||Why did you exempt MMM, Muslim League, Majlis and other parties in which can be linked to some religion? Pseudo seculars like you are responsible for hate politics in India.|||increase in religious parties like bjp results this
